Thank you Dene and Post Bulletin for featuring our practice and the work of child life in the community! We are so grateful to work with incredible kids and families, and with so many amazing community partners!

Dagney Willey Adamson and Marne Perrin know that play and education can go hand-in-hand, especially for children facing big life changes or scary moments.

They are both certified child life specialists, professionals who are trained in child development and help those kids and teens cope with stress and trauma. Often, they work in hospitals, guiding pediatric patients through new, scary or painful things such as surgery or chemotherapy.

New kitten. New Medical play toys. Preschooler. Same preschooler put a pony bead in her nose a couple months ago, rocked the removal, but didn’t appreciate her flu vaccine, but distracted me for mine 🥰.

Highlighting Annika Kuelbs, CCLS! She has been certified since 2013, and never fails to connect with the children and families she works with through her infectious playful energy and sense of humor. We are honored she and Riggs will join our PJ’s and PDU’s on November 15 to highlight the work that Annika is doing!
