Freezin’ for a Reason! ❄️

The Waters on Mayowood hosted their third annual "Freezin' for a Reason" polar plunge to kick off this year's fundraising for The Alzheimer's Association on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in Rochester.

Today we hosted our 3rd Annual
"Freezin For a Reason" Polar Plunge to raise money for the Alzheimer's walk this year. Our environmental services director, Darren and our health well-being director Shannon were both brave enough to take the plunge. We enjoyed cold treats, lots of laughs and raised over $500 for a great cause.

We've had a bustling couple of days in our community with a range of activities, featuring educational programs and 'fill your vase' in senior living. While our Petals neighborhoods welcomed a navy service member from the Eisenhower ship for a talk. In addition to baking, physical games, and educational fun.
