Art Therapist, Emma, shares the importance of taking breaks and putting up healthy boundaries in order to prevent burnout from occurring. Burnout can happen to anyone, but those who are neurodivergent may find it it happens more quickly or often. The good news is, even if we're already in burnout, we can get ourselves out of it through intentional self-care - things like getting enough rest, prioritizing activities that fill you up, and reevaluating the time and energy you assign to things outside of your personal values.
