Spinal stenosis is a medical condition that occurs when the space within the spinal column narrows, putting pressure on the spinal cord and nerves. This can cause pain, numbness, and weakness in the arms and legs. Here are three simple exercises you can do at home to help with the pain and discomfort.

We recommend you to see a physical therapist to get a personalized treatment plan that focuses on improving flexibility, strength, and endurance. They can also help improve balance and stability.

Having 12 costumes for Halloween is wild but our Fairport clinic went all out. Would you want a copy of this 2026 calendar?

If you were at our Webster clinic and saw your Physical Therapist fall randomly, we can assure you they were playing their characters.
P.S. No toys were hurt in the making of this video.

Dizziness is a general feeling of lightheadedness, imbalance, or unsteadiness. It can happen from dehydration, low blood pressure, or fatigue.
Vertigo, on the other hand, is the sensation that you or your surroundings are spinning or moving when theyโ€™re not. It often stems from inner ear or vestibular issues and thatโ€™s where a physical therapist can help. Vestibular physical therapy focuses on exercises that retrain your brain and balance system to reduce vertigo symptoms and restore stability.

Burd Physical Therapy is a family-owned physical therapy clinic with a mission to provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in the greater Rochester area. Chelsea Burdick, the owner and operator, is a Rochester native from Greece, NY. She attended Nazareth College and graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor's degree in Health Science in 2014. Chelsea was a member of the Nazareth Women's Soccer team. Her athletic background is what sparked her interest in physical therapy.

Clinically, she shows a special interest in neurological rehab including Parkinson's disease, stroke and balance impairments, as well as orthopedic conditions and sports injuries. She is an avid sports lover (Go Bills!) and enjoys playing soccer and running for exercise. Chelsea and her family live in Irondequoit with their two beloved dogs. In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her son Re*****on and her husband Adam. โ€‹

Adam & Chelsea Burdick are also the proud owners of Burd Home Health which is based out of Rochester, NY.โ€‹ Burd Home Health believes the best care will come from someone you know and trust. We help families throughout the U.S. take control of their care and hire a family member, friend or anyone they choose as a paid caregiver. This program is funded through Medicaid.
