I hope you had an absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving and have a delightful upcoming holiday season! I am so thankful to be here providing relief and relaxation to all of you. As always I have a multitude of updates I've been looking forward to sharing with you. Make sure to stick till the end as I've saved the best announcement for last!

As previously mentioned I will be raising prices January 1st, 2024. All massage services are going up $10 except for 60 minutes which are going up $15. Skincare services are going up $5. The combination of a massage and facial will go up $10. I know you may be thinking, "Curse this infernal inflation!" as you shake your fist towards the sky! In all reality though I'm taking these prices all the way back to what they were in the year 2010 and merely charging $5 more than what I charged right out of massage school (just so I can feel like I've made some improvement since then haha). Not so bad when you think of it that way. You'll also notice that it is a better deal the longer your massage! Here is the basic list of updated prices (for the sake of brevity not all time lengths are included in this list):

Services that have already been booked and prepaid for the New Year will remain at the current pricing without having to pay the additional difference. Now until the end of the year is your last chance to purchase service gift certificates for yourself or others at the current rates so make sure to take advantage while you still can!

Service gift certificates purchased prior to 2024 (including this holiday season) will still be good through me directly at your appointment without having to pay the additional difference in price. If you try to prepay through massagebook it will ask for additional money so just make sure to pass that information along to your loved ones that they need to reach out to me to book their appointment and I will honor it for the service purchased. If you or someone you purchased a gift certificate for does accidentally pay the additional money I will do as I have done in the past and add that money as store credit to the account to avoid the additional fees associated with refunding through square.

The base level price for add-ons are not increasing and I'm actually decreasing the price of the CBD add-on from $20 to $5. This means for those of you who regularly get CBD depending on what type of service you receive your overall price is actually remaining the same or decreasing by $5. Lucky you! For those of you who are curious about trying CBD there will be no better time starting January 1st!

Now onto the deals this holiday season and beyond! What do I mean by that? Well I'm introducing an all new loyalty rewards program here at Tiny Spa! I appreciate you supporting my small business by shopping here for gifts and your skincare needs, so starting January 1st, 2024 I will be offering a rewards program where you earn 5% rewards on every product purchased year round! Buy something in your birthday month and receive 10% in rewards! You will receive these rewards as store credit on your account that you can redeem for other products, add-ons, or even services starting in 2024! Black Forest Chocolate-Bourbon Escape

Skin receives a quick spritz of rose water tonic to help erase the look of pesky pores before a pumpkin mud mask, fresh off the farm in Oregon, is softly painted onto the face. This bentonite clay and pumpkin puree blend helps pull out bacteria and toxins from pores — now your skin is looking absolutely porefect! Time sure does fly by!

There have been many changes and additions over the past year and I'm certainly looking forward to what else the future will bring! Thank you once again for all of your support over the years, but especially this past whirlwind of a year. From my crazy hours during school, the wait for my appearance enhancement business license, the addition of a ton of new services and add-ons, and introducing retail for the first time, you have been there with me through it all every step of the way (and for those of you who are newer clients welcome to my rambling, long, information-packed, but thankfully infrequent email updates--you're welcome). I'm so very grateful for all of your genuine well wishes and shared excitement about this location and new services that I've put my heart and soul into. Many of you have asked how the new services are going and how many I've done and I figured now was the perfect opportunity to really calculate that out to share with you. Since getting my appearance enhancement business license on February 15th I have done 16 body scrubs, 17 body wraps, and 12 facials! With many more booked coming up! Thank you for trusting in me for many of your very first facials and/or body treatments. I'm glad for all of the positive feedback, but especially with the vichy shower room. That was the biggest leap of faith for my vision of this place and to know that everyone has been thoroughly impressed with it has made it all worth it! Speaking of the vichy shower I wanted to take this opportunity to provide a brief FAQ for those who have been curious and don't know what to expect.

The vichy shower is how the salt or sugar scrub or treatment mask is removed from the body after the treatment is complete. The 8 shower heads are brought over the massage table to rinse it off in a relaxing manner; a waterfall shower raining down on you, while laying down, and receiving a light massage. I do not provide disposable underwear so if you are uncomfortable with being completely undressed you can bring your own swimsuit to wear during the treatment (recommended something you don't worry about staining as the treatment masks have the potential to stain). You are properly draped with a towel and/or blanket during the vichy shower at all times. This is a shower so please bear in mind that your hair will get wet. I tried to provide a shower cap once...but it did not go well...so if you have a bathing cap of your own that you want to try, feel free, but if you absolutely don't want your hair to get wet then this may not be the treatment for you. After the shower you will dry off, don your robe and slippers and head to the massage room for the relaxing application of a moisturizer. I will transport your clothes and other items to the other room in a provided container. As always it is recommended to hydrate properly after the service for full benefits.

If you're receiving a body scrub it is recommended to not shave for at least 24 hours before your appointment. A body scrub exfoliates and reveals fresh newly polished smooth skin ready to absorb the hydrating and nourishing moisturizer. A body wrap is where a serum or mask is painted onto the body and then you are wrapped in a warming cocoon while receiving a scalp and facial massage (or a mini facial for a luxurious add-on). This heat is not only relaxing, but allows for the products to better pe*****te through your open pores. Similarly the body wrap is best paired with a body scrub as the freshly exfoliated skin also allows for better product pe*******on with maximized benefits.

Moving along I'd like to call your attention to some additional add-ons. First I'd like to explain the difference between a hand and/or foot scrub and a hand and/or foot renewal. I updated the description of the scrub on the website because I was never doing just a hand/foot scrub (because I have to be extra). The scrub is followed by the application of a leave-on treatment (ex. honey heel glaze, wine down serum, etc.) wrapped with a hot towel. Then once the other hand or foot is scrubbed and treatment applied I return to the first hand or foot and remove the towel and do a massage with a moisturizer before repeating on the other hand or foot. The hand and/or foot renewal also involves a scrub, but the main difference is that the treatment mask applied needs to be removed (ex. a mud or sundae best chocolate mask or pajama paste yogurt mask, etc.) and while on is wrapped with a heating wrap similar to the body wrap. Once the mask is removed then there is a massage with a moisturizer as well.

Another new add-on is "Clear & Calm". Back muscles will say, ahhhh as you unwind in this add-on bubble masking treatment created to deliver relief and exfoliation to skin. A few drops of warm water are applied onto the back and shoulders before a Sanded Ground mud mask is massaged into the skin. Medium-grain powdered volcanic pumice polishes skin smooth, while Red Arizona Montmorillonite Clay absorbs bacteria toxins.
