Congratulations to Reilly Muth for winning the High Five Award!

Reilly earned the High Five for her remarkable dedication, genuine compassion, and the exceptional presence she brings to Team ABC every single day.

From the moment Reilly joined ABC, she fully immersed herself in the work and the people we serve. Whether covering a shift, leading an outing, or facilitating an activity, she shows up consistently to ensure individuals receive meaningful, engaging support. Her commitment goes far beyond day-to-day responsibilities. Reilly developed a comprehensive 9-week ASL class, taught in collaboration with deaf individuals served at ABC, to equip staff with a valuable skill that strengthens not only our team but the quality of support we provide as an organization.

What truly sets Reilly apart is the way she makes everyone, individuals and staff alike, feel welcome, heard, and understood. She is continuously helpful and accommodating, yet also grounded and confident in setting healthy boundaries and communicating her needs in a way that models professionalism and self-advocacy.

Reilly’s supportive presence, willingness to step in, and dedication to fostering a positive environment have made a meaningful impact on the entire team. Her work reflects the mission and values of ABC in every way.

ABC is proud to highlight its meaningful partnership with Meals on Wheels 🌟

This collaboration brings nourishment, connection, and community inclusion to older adults while offering opportunities for growth, purpose, and community engagement to individuals in ABC programming. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, Abilities Integrated Crews deliver nutritious meals and moments of friendship to neighbors across Rochester. For ABC, this is more than volunteering. It is a mutually beneficial relationship that helps people with disabilities build real-world skills while strengthening the community.

Each volunteer brings something unique to the experience. Tom enjoys chatting with the people he meets and greeting the friendly dogs along the route. Marcella takes pride in helping ensure meals reach those who need them most. Brevin is motivated by the chance to give back and support food access in the community. Heartwarming moments happen on every route, from weekly visits with familiar faces to small connections that brighten someone’s day. Over time, these interactions grow into meaningful relationships that benefit both recipients and volunteers.

By seeing many of the same individuals each week, volunteers build trust, confidence, and a sense of purpose. For people in ABC programming, the routes provide hands-on opportunities to practice communication, teamwork, and responsibility. For Meals on Wheels clients, the visits offer not only nutritious meals but also companionship and reassurance. ABC is grateful for this ongoing partnership, which allows our teams to deliver more than food. Together, we deliver kindness, connection, and a shared commitment to a stronger, more inclusive community.

We had so much fun decorating a tree for this year’s Festival of Trees for Hiawatha Homes! 🎄
If you’re looking for a festive way to kick off the season and support an amazing local organization, be sure to stop by their open viewing. Community-decorated trees, holiday activities, and visits with Santa make it a perfect outing for all ages.

Open Viewing runs November 28–30, and admission is a free-will donation.
Make plans to attend and help support the important work Hiawatha Homes does in our community!

As the holiday season arrives, we’re reminded how grateful we are for our ABC community — the individuals we serve, families, staff, and supporters who make our mission possible all year long.

If you’re looking for meaningful ways to give back this season, here are a few ways you can support ABC and help us continue empowering individuals with disabilities to live, learn, and thrive independently in the community:

Make a Monetary Gift
Every donation, big or small, directly supports our programs, experiences, and opportunities for the individuals we serve. Your contribution helps us create moments of joy, growth, and connection.

Spread Awareness
Sharing our posts, inviting friends to follow our page, or simply talking about ABC in your circles helps us reach more people who believe in inclusion and community support.

Partner With Us
Businesses and community groups can make a huge impact through event sponsorships and volunteering.

Show Up & Share Support
Engage with our content, celebrate our participants’ achievements, and help build a more understanding, inclusive community.

This season, we invite you to help us continue the work that matters most: creating a world where everyone is seen, supported, and welcomed. Thank you for being part of ABC.
