Every December, our staff and residents host a bake sale to raise funds to go to Recovery Night at the Minnesota Wild. Thank you to all who donated, or stopped by to purchase treats, to make this night possible for us. ❤️

This evening means so much every year…a pre-game speaker meeting, new experiences in recovery, and time in fellowship together. We are grateful. 🙏🏻

Huge shout out to our friends at Rochester City Lines for helping us get there!

6:00 PM – CMA Speaker Meeting
7:00 PM – Doors Open to the Public
8:00 PM – Activities Begin
Minute-to-Win-It Games (Teams of 5 – kids included!)

🍕 Pizza served throughout the night

🍿 Snack/Appetizer Potluck (bring a favorite!)

Whether they're ready for inpatient treatment or just need someone to talk to, patients in Mayo Clinic Hospital's emergency department can connect with addiction recovery specialists.

We love our traditions around here, and this year was no different. We enjoyed a delicious Christmas Eve dinner (pasta from our friends at Victoria's!), followed by Christmas morning brunch with lattes and fellowship. ❤️

Our hearts are filled with gratitude and friendship, and we wish you all a wonderful day and Holiday season! ☃️

This Christmas season, we’re reminded that recovery can begin in an ordinary moment that might just change everything. ❤️🎄

Today, we are honored to share a special video featuring Adam Juhas, an alumni of Doc’s Recovery House whose journey reflects resilience, community, and the power of new beginnings. We first met Adam on Christmas in 2023, and what we’ve had the privilege of witnessing in the three years since has been remarkable.

This is why Christmas matters so deeply to us at Doc’s House. Fellowship matters. Shared meals matter. Presence matters. These moments, simple yet profound, are where healing and community happens.

Shared experiences remind us that recovery is about supporting others in building a life of recovery, friendship and community.

Thank you for being part of this community and for all you do to support Doc's House, and those who are building a new life of recovery every single day.

Our next Recovery Coach Academy is coming up in one month, kicking off at the end of January. Now's the time to get your application in and mark your calendar! 🧡

The training is available for both individuals in recovery and allies of the recovery community interested in completing the course to learn more about the peer recovery specialist field, and how they can support others.
