Welcome to the Atma Team, Krissy!! is a licensed acupuncturist who approaches Chinese medicine as both an art and a science, blending evidence-based care with intuition, deep listening, and genuine presence. Her treatments are designed to feel nurturing, grounding, and thoughtfully tailored to each person, honoring the body’s natural wisdom and capacity to heal.

Krissy is also a mother of three, and much of her clinical approach is deeply informed by her own experiences through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the emotional transitions of parenthood. This lived understanding brings an added layer of compassion, insight, and gentleness to the care she provides.

Her primary clinical focus is reproductive and perinatal health. As a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM), she supports individuals and couples trying to conceive naturally as well as those navigating assisted reproductive technologies. She works collaboratively with patients, offering personalized, steady guidance through every stage of the fertility journey.

At the heart of her practice is connection. She believes healing happens when people feel truly seen, safe, and supported. As a new acupuncturist at Atma Health & Acupuncture and a recent transplant to Rochester with her family, she is excited to serve and grow alongside this community. Her goal goes beyond symptom relief — she aims to help patients build resilience, reconnect with themselves, and feel empowered in their health and lives. Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is the best and one of acupuncturist Sara’s specialties and most favorite patient experiences at Atma! Sara has come up with this very relaxing yet effective protocol after 20 years of working with patients and having additional training in facial acupuncture. She starts with facial cupping, then facial gua sha, point specific facial and body acupuncture and she ends with a relaxing scalp massage using very cute octopus massagers. It’s pure bliss! This is great for anyone that suffers with acne, bags under the eyes, puffiness, water retention, jaw tension, headaches, sinus congestion, wrinkles, and/ or facial stress (and who doesn’t have that these days?!) Exciting news! We hired another acupuncturist to help patients get in quicker and to have more opportunities for exceptional and compassionate care. We are all masters of treating any condition as we all have over 15++ years of clinical experience , but we each have our own specialties within Atma! Jason loves treating pain and headaches, Sara’s specialty is treating perimenopause/menopause/stressed women and facial rejuvenation acupuncture, and now Krissy Rock is joining us with an emphasis and additional training on fertility, pregnancy and post partum care. We are sooooo very excited to welcome Krissy to our team! She is intelligent, kind, compassionate, and an empathic listener. Her acupuncture approach is very gentle and supportive. She also incorporates in energy work and cupping therapy, just like Jason and Sara. Soon she will also be offering facial rejuvenation acupuncture.
