GiGi’s Playhouse Rochester is excited to host a special Fashion Show celebrating women with Down syndrome and promoting inclusion in the fashion industry.

This event is organized by Nina DiMarco, a senior at Mercy High School and a proud member of our GiGi’s Playhouse Rochester Youth Board, as part of her senior capstone project. 💖

This meaningful event highlights confidence, self-expression, and the power of representation as our participants take the runway and shine.

📣 Spring Session Registration is Still Open! 🌸

Our Spring Session at GiGi’s Playhouse Rochester begins next Tuesday, January 20th, and there’s still time to register! While some programs are filling up quickly (or are already full) we’re excited to share that many of our programs still have availability.

📝 Why registration matters:
Registering in advance helps our team plan thoughtfully and ensure we have enough trained volunteers to make each program safe, engaging, and purposeful. It truly helps us create the best possible experience for our participants!

⏳ About waitlists:
If a program is full, please be sure to join the waitlist. If space opens up, a member of our staff will reach out to confirm your spot. Please wait for that confirmation before attending.

We’re so excited to kick off another amazing session and can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the Playhouse next week! 💙✨

We loved welcoming back the Mercy girls to the Playhouse to kick off the new year. This time with the 8th graders! 💙

Every visit is so special to us. Not only do these amazing students lend a helping hand around the Playhouse, but they also take the time to learn more about Down syndrome and our incredible community.

Our favorite part is always coming together at the end to ask what they learned. Their reflections are thoughtful, insightful, and filled with excitement, and it reminds us why awareness and education matter so much.

We are so grateful for opportunities like this to expand awareness in our community and hopefully inspire these girls to continue spreading acceptance and kindness wherever they go. 💫

As we welcome 2026, we’re filled with gratitude for our incredible community, our families, participants, volunteers, and supporters who make our Playhouse so special.
