We are excited to formally announce Anthony L. Jordan Health's participation in the ROC Family Teleconnects Initiative. This is a community investment through Monroe County Executive Adam J. Bello centered around maternal and infant health. We are partnering with United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes, URMC and Rochester Regional Health to help provide services for moms, families and children regardless of background or zip code.

Through our participation in the ROC Family Teleconnects Program, in partnership with community and healthcare leaders, we are helping to expand both telehealth and in-person home visiting services for families who need it most.

We would like to thank Dr. Linda Clark for her years of service at Jordan Health. After years of dedication, Dr. Clark has decided to step down as President and CEO of Jordan Health. Dr. Clark served as Chief Medical Officer before taking on the role of President and CEO. She has helped to guide a number of resourceful initiatives for the wellbeing of our patients and community.

Dr. Clark is continuing her service by working closely with the Interim President and CEO. She will be supporting him as she officially transitions out of the role. Former Board Member, Dr. Frederick Johnson, has been named as Interim President and CEO as the board launches its formal nationwide search. Dr. Johnson is well positioned to support Jordan Health Center during this transition while serving as Interim President and CEO due to his extensive career, experience and strong leadership background in this community.

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated the ability to guide organizations through periods of change, maintain operational stability, and support staff and community partnerships. His experience in leadership, strategic planning, and organizational management will help ensure continuity of services and continued progress toward the organization’s goals. Dr. Johnson’s steady leadership and experience make him well-suited to lead Jordan Health Center during this interim period and provide stability and direction for both staff and the community.

Our Story

The health services that became the Jordan Health Center, began more than 100 years ago, in 1904, and was one of the first five Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) established in the nation. Located in neighborhoods where the most pressing need exists, Jordan’s roots are steeped in service to underserved and uninsured residents, meeting their need for comprehensive health services. Anthony L. Jordan Health Center began in northeast Rochester and has since expanded to become a network of primary care offices and health centers serving residents living in three quadrants of the Rochester and in Canandaigua, N.Y.
