is the prerequisite for learning. For our children, the relationship they have with their teacher or therapist is the very foundation upon which every academic skill is built. When a child feels , , and liked by the adult in front of them, their nervous system relaxes, and their brain opens up to new information. 🧠✨

In special education, we often focus so much on the goals and the data that we forget the " " element. A child who feels or will often as a form of self-protection. But when that bond is strong? That’s where the magic happens. 🪄
