Starting in mid-March, the Catawba Service Unit and the Catawba Nation Wellness Program will launch our 8-week Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) called Catawba Huri! This Lifestyle Change Program is designed for Native Americans who are at risk for Type 2 Diabetes. It focuses on healthier eating, increased physical activity, and weight management.

If you are interested in joining this program, please complete the Diabetes Risk Assessment Intake Form. If you are eligible, a representative from the Wellness Program will contact you soon.

Due to the snowfall this weekend and potentially hazardous road conditions tomorrow, the Catawba Service Unit will be closed on Monday, February 2nd.

The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Our team will reach out soon to reschedule all Monday appointments.
