Dr. Sabah Kadhim graduated from Baghdad University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. He holds a Master’s and Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Baghdad, College of Medicine and the University of Al-Mustansiriyah College of Medicine, respectively. Simultaneously, during preparation for his Master’s and Ph.D., he worked as an assistant lecturer at the University of Al-Mustansiriyah College of Dentistry.
Dr. Kadhim and his family moved to the United States in 2016. He attended Louisiana State University for veterinary clinical training. In 2019, Dr. Kadhim received a certification to practice veterinary medicine in the United States. He also finished a small animal rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Oklahoma State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kadhim worked as a general practitioner for two years. He worked as an emergency medicine veterinarian at the South Carolina Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Care between 2022 and 2024.
Dr. Kadhim’s areas of interest are small animal medicine, soft tissue surgeries, and emergency medicine. He is married and has five children. Outside work, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and working out.
