Retracing is the course of restoration from dis-ease back to health.

As your body heals, old symptoms can briefly come back. Almost like your body is “revisiting” past issues on its way to better health.

Think of it like cleaning out a messy closet: things get stirred up before everything feels organized again.

Some people report feeling temporary discomfort, fatigue, or old aches during this process. That is the body restoring balance, not getting worse. The body finally feels safe enough to re-organize and heal.

Healing isn’t always a straight line. It can take a few steps back before moving forward.

Being patient with others.

These things may seem simple or obvious, but being present and kind to others has a positive impact on the world.

...it's about the person!

Here at Expansion Chiropractic, we don't focus on the condition someone comes in with. We focus on the person in front of us and how they can heal as a whole.

There is so much more to you than a condition you are currently experiencing!

What is currently a problem for you may not always be a problem for you.

In fact, often you'll hear people say "my anxiety," "my ADHD," or "my [whatever condition is bothering them]." Words have meaning. No one owns these conditions, and these conditions don't need to become someone's identity.

You are so much more than your condition! ❤️

In order to fully heal, you need to actually allow yourself to feel.

I’m not saying you should wallow in your feelings; but allow yourself to become aware of your feelings, acknowledge and accept them.

It may be “easier” to bury your feelings, hide from them, or distract yourself from them.

However, this leads to a disregulated nervous system and potentially poor coping mechanisms.

Be brave, allow yourself to feel and live your life. 🌸

What we put our attention to grows.

So, why do we focus more on what we want less of?

We all want less pain, less suffering, less discomfort, etc. However, when we focus on what we want less of, that's exactly what we will get more of!

As an experiment, try focusing on what you want more of for a week.
