In order to fully heal, you need to actually allow yourself to feel.
I’m not saying you should wallow in your feelings; but allow yourself to become aware of your feelings, acknowledge and accept them.
It may be “easier” to bury your feelings, hide from them, or distract yourself from them.
However, this leads to a disregulated nervous system and potentially poor coping mechanisms.
Be brave, allow yourself to feel and live your life. 🌸
