All locations of Affinity Health Center will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving Thursday, 11/27/25 and Friday 11/28/25. Avita Pharmacy will be closed Thursday, 11/27/25 and the Avita walk up window will be open Friday, 11/28/25 from 8-3. Gratitude to our patients, staff and community partners, may all be safe, sheltered and fed.

Packaging up groceries to deliver to York County First Steps! Food will go directly to families in the Rock Hill School District. Thanks to everyone who helped make this food drive a success from food donations to packing grocery bags. ❤❤❤

Talk to your doctor about testing for STDs. Free, walk-in rapid testing for HIV, hepatitis C, pregnancy and lab testing for chlamydia/gonorrhea is available at Affinity Health Center's main site in Rock Hill M-TH 8:30-6, F 8:30-4 (office is closed Wednesdays 12-1:30).

You can help feed families in Rock Hill Schools! Drop off nonperishable items at Affinity Health Center from now through Friday 11/21/25. Food will directly benefit Rock Hill families through York County First Steps who partners with York County School Districts to ensure children are ready for and are successful in school. The goal is to provide meals families can prepare on a low to no-income budget. Any help is appreciated, any non-perishables you would like to provide are welcome. Requested items are:
• Rice
• Beans
• Dry pasta
• Canned pasta sauce
• Canned tuna/chicken/ham
• Canned raviolis, SpaghettiOs, canned meals
• Boxed macaroni and cheese (sauce mix in pouch not powder)
• Canned stews, Chilli beans
• Oatmeal
• Canned fruits and vegetables
• Cooking oil, spices, sugar
• Applesauce, crackers, pudding/fruit cups kid friendly nonperishable snacks

Closing out Breast Cancer Awareness month, our CHWs and Referrals teams are educating Affinity Health Center patients about the importance of routine screening for breast cancer. Through a partnership with Invision Diagnostics , the Mammogram Bus comes to Affinity about twice a month allowing many of our patients convenient access to screening mammograms.

2️⃣ Give a monetary donation to your local food pantry so they can buy what they need.

3️⃣ Join VolunteerSC.org powered by POINT, to provide boots on the ground support.

Today is Vote Early Day. York, Chester, and Lancaster County voters can vote in their local General Election now through Friday 10/31 from 8:30-5:00 at designated locations.
