Lyon Specialty Care is a skilled nursing and long-term care community providing compassionate, individualized care for our residents, while also caring for their family's well-being and peace of mind. We serve residents from Lyon County, Iowa, and many surrounding communities. Meet Alex, our Dietary Services Manager here at Lyon Specialty Care! Alex plays a key role in making sure our residents receive nutritious meals every day, and he does it with consistency, care, and attention to detail.

Outside of work, Alex is a proud husband and dad to three kids, and family time is a big part of how he recharges. Whether it’s spending time at home, being involved with his kids, or enjoying a good meal together, family is at the center of everything he does.

Alex takes pride in his role and the impact dietary services have on resident satisfaction and overall care. We appreciate the leadership and dedication he brings to our kitchen and our team each day.

Becca has been a member of the team for two years and finds the most fulfillment in resident care and daily interaction. She describes the team as entertaining, caring, and passionate, and values the positive environment they create together. Becca is inspired by her daughter and hopes to continue advancing her career by working toward becoming a nurse practitioner.

Outside of work, she enjoys unwinding by playing video games and proudly describes herself as a “big nerd.” Her advice to those new to the field is to take things one day at a time, reflecting her thoughtful and steady approach to caregiving.

Outside of work, Macie enjoys spending time with her horse named Brew, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family. Macie’s favorite part of her job is caring for the residents. Congratulations Macie! 🎉 🎈
