Our residents at the Jimmy Simpson Foundation/Safehaven explored new clay art skills with the incredible team at Scenic City Clay Arts. Each piece tells a story of focus patience, teamwork, & confidence growing with every step. Art like this isn’t just about what is made;it’s about what is discovered along the way.

Through gatherings, resources, and shared experiences, Carol’s Light reminds participants that they are never alone on their journey.

Because sometimes the most powerful support comes from a community that understands.

🧠 Know the Signs of a Brain Injury

During Brain Injury Awareness Month, understanding the warning signs can help protect lives.

After a fall, accident, or blow to the head, watch for symptoms like:

• Headache or pressure in the head
• Confusion or difficulty concentrating
• Dizziness or balance problems
• Nausea or vomiting
• Sensitivity to light or noise
• Changes in mood or behavior

⚠️ If something feels wrong, seek medical care right away.

Early recognition and treatment can make a critical difference in recovery.

The Jimmy Simpson Foundation works every day to support individuals and families impacted by brain injury while also promoting prevention and awareness in our communities.
