Madelyn Malan (She/Her) is a Provisional Clinical Social Worker (PCSW-1165) working toward full licensure. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Northwestern State University of Louisiana (2023). Madelyn earned her MSSW in Social Work from University of Louisville (2024). Madelyn has special interest in working with trauma survivors, substance use, domestic violence survivors, and couples. She is an LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist. Madelyn has educational and professional experience working with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, gender identity, trauma-related diagnoses, and various life experiences. Madelyn accepts clients over the age of 16. Madelyn uses a culturally-informed approach when working with clients and incorporates humanistic, systems, cognitive behavioral, and strength-based theories in her work with clients. Madelyn desires to create safe spaces for individuals, highlighting and celebrating the strengths each client possesses.
