I used to struggle with this. Emotional eating, stress eating, depression eating, I don’t love myself eating - whatever you may call it - now, I listen to my body. Am I perfect, no, there is no such thing as perfection. Now, I enjoy my food. I enjoy a celebration - including some treats. What I don’t do anymore is guilt trip myself for eating something “I shouldn’t” or overindulge because I’m feeling bad. Food nourishes my body, not depletes me.
