Margaret Jane (Horst) Pry passed away on March 30, 2026, surrounded by loving family and under the care of Orange City Home Health and Hospice at the age of 85 years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hawarden, Iowa with Father Mauro Sanchez officiating. Inurnment will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery, with a luncheon and time of visitation with the family at the church hall after the committal service.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 27, at 2:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley, with Jason Strubbe and Chris Van Beek officiating. The service will be livestreamed on Mark’s obituary page at https://www.porterfuneralhomes.com/obituaries/mark-strubbe. A time of visiting with the family and refreshments will follow the service. A private family inurnment with military rites will take place prior to the service at Valley View Cemetery.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hawarden, Iowa with Father Mauro Sanchez officiating. Following a luncheon, the committal will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Alcester, South Dakota.
Public viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Following the viewing, her body will be cremated.

Rock Valley, Iowa: Andrew Oostra, 86, of Rock Valley, Iowa, was called home by his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was surrounded by the voices of several of those who loved him and he is now at peace. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 26, at 2:30 PM, at the First Reformed Church of Rock Valley with Pastor Cliff Hoekstra officiating. The service will be livestreamed at https://www.rvfrc.org/. Visitation with the family present will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at First Reformed Church. A celebration and inurnment will be held at Valley View Cemetery of Rock Valley in June.

Memorials may be directed to the First Reformed Church of Rock Valley (Sound System).

INWOOD, IOWA ~ Robert “Roy” Folkerts peacefully entered into the arms of his faithful Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Fellowship Village in Inwood at the age of 89.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Inwood Christian Reformed Church in Inwood, Iowa, with Rev. David Smit officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Richland Cemetery at Inwood.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church. The Porter Funeral Home in Inwood is assisting the family. Condolences may be sent to www.porterfuneralhomes.com. The funeral service will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/InwoodCRC.
