Today we want to highlight the Wrist-Driven Wrist-Hand Orthosis (WDWHO)

An incredible device designed to support individuals with weakened hand function, often due to spinal cord injury or nerve damage.

A WDWHO uses the motion of the wrist to help the fingers open and close, allowing patients to grasp and release objects more independently. With this orthosis, everyday tasks like holding a cup, picking up items, or stabilizing the hand become much more achievable.

At Quantum Clinics, we love seeing how the right orthotic device can restore confidence and improve daily living.

Yesterday our Justice Clinic team met with a physical therapy clinic in Indiana, and it was a great opportunity to connect and share knowledge.
Working together as a medical team is so important, each of us brings different skills that help create the most complete and effective treatment plan for our patients.
When prosthetists, orthotists, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers communicate and collaborate, our patients benefit from better care, smoother progress, and stronger outcomes. Teamwork truly makes a difference.
