Encourage, support, and report on innovative programs that incorporate the therapeutic use of humor. Function as an interdisciplinary network for its members. A Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor of English at UConn and recipient of the university’s highest teaching honor, Dr. Barreca is the bestselling author of They Used to Call Me Snow White, But I Drifted and nine other books exploring humor, culture, and women’s lives.
