Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated or boring. At Rockford Weight Loss we focus on eating real food that fuels real results! Try this easy recipe below 👇

Chicken Noodle Stir-fry

INGREDIENTS:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
8 oz noodles (heart of palm, or spaghetti, squash, on plan)
1 tablespoon ghee
1 onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1/4 cup liquid amino acids
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon raw honey
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cook the Noodles: according to instructions
2. Cook the Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, or until fully cooked and lightly browned. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
3. Stir-fry the Vegetables: In the same pan, add the onion, bell pepper and broccoli. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir for another minute until fragrant.
4. Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, raw honey (if using), and red pepper flakes.
5. Combine the Stir-fry: Add the cooked chicken and noodles back into the pan with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over everything and toss well to combine, ensuring the sauce coats all the ingredients evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro or sliced green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!

The number on the scale is only one piece of the picture.

Your total weight includes muscle mass, body fat, water retention, inflammation, and even digestive fluctuations. Because of this, the scale can move up or down for reasons that have nothing to do with actual fat change.

That’s why we look at body fat percentage and body composition not just weight.

When body fat percentage improves, it often reflects positive metabolic changes such as better muscle preservation, reduced inflammation, and healthier overall balance. These are the markers that support long-term success, not just short-term fluctuation.
