Exciting Leadership Transition at Family Counseling Services!

The Board of Directors of Family Counseling Services is pleased to announce that Stan Goral has been selected as our new Chief Executive Officer, effective in the coming weeks as current Executive Director Lynn Momberger prepares for a well-deserved retirement.

Stan brings exceptional leadership experience and an unwavering commitment to our mission. He has served on our Board of Directors for the past 10 years, most recently as Board President—a position he resigned from when he submitted his candidacy for the CEO role.

Stan's professional background includes 7 years of experience managing dental practices and 5 years in leadership roles at Amazon, where he led teams across multiple functional areas with responsibility for up to 225 employees. His combination of operational expertise, strategic vision, and deep knowledge of Family Counseling Services makes him uniquely qualified to lead our organization into its next chapter.

Stan and Lynn will be working side by side during this transition period to ensure seamless continuity of our programs and services to the community.

We also take this opportunity to express our profound gratitude to Lynn Momberger for her outstanding leadership and dedication as CEO. Lynn's vision and commitment have strengthened our organization immeasurably, and her legacy will continue to guide us forward.

Please share to help spread the word for Rockford Family Peace Center and Brooke Road Community Center.

In the last 12 months, survivors have reached out to us for emotional support while navigating domestic violence over 2,000 times. The FPC Task Force wants to expand those efforts to include the friends, family members and loved ones of survivors through a monthly group. If you care about someone who has been impacted by domestic violence, please join Megan from the FPC and Karly from Children's Safe Harbor, Inc. next week at Brooke Road Community Center to learn about services and how to be an effective support person.
