Yesterday we hosted our 1st Quarter Faith Fellowship gathering. We were glad to see all of those who were able to attend and missed those who were not able to join us this time.
Linda Russell was our speaker and talked about those phrases that we often recite and lean on for comfort during hard times and whether they are scriptural or just "feel good" sayings. Encouraging us to be able to know and be able to quote scriptural/God's words of comfort during difficult times. Thank you Mrs. Linda for your message.
Our next Faith Fellowship gathering is planned for April 28th at 10am here in our conference room.

The weather forecast is certainly looking like we are in for some nasty and potentially dangerous weather.
We are sharing these cold weather planning tips from the US National Weather Service in Raleigh.
Stay safe and stay warm!

A winter storm is expected to impact our area this weekend, with wintry precipitation likely beginning Saturday and continuing into Sunday. Snow, Sleet and Freezing Rain could lead to hazardous travel, especially Saturday night. While exact amounts are still uncertain, confidence is increasing in impactful winter weather. Now is the time to finish preparations, plan for potential travel disruptions, and stay up to date with the latest forecast through the weekend. Weather.gov/rah/winter

Our "Love Bug Mailbox" was installed on Friday, so its ready to receive your Valentine cards!
From now until February 10th we will be accepting cards either in our Love Bug mail box at any time of the day or week or if there are too many to fit in the box you are welcome to bring them inside to our front desk Monday - Friday anytime between 8:30am- 5:00pm.
February 10th will be our last collection day so that we have enough time to sort and deliver the cards before Valentine's day!
Our plan is to distribute cards to our hospice patients, residents in nursing facilities, participants at the Senior Centers, and others as far as they will go.
So, with the predicted winter weather this weekend get you some crafting supplies and have some family time creating cards for seniors in our community. This is also a great service/mission project for youth groups, classrooms, or any other groups, or individuals. We hope that you will consider making some Valentine's cards for members of our community it really does put a smile on their faces to receive them!
The "Love Bug Mailbox" is once again located near the front door of our Richmond County Hospice Administrative Building at 1119 N US Highway 1 in Rockingham, NC.πŸ’ŒπŸ’ŸπŸ’
