Welcome and thank you for taking the time to view our business page. Bostic Counseling & Consulting is dedicated to assisting individuals in becoming healthier versions of themselves using cognitive behavioral therapy and Choice Theory (reality therapy). We are currently accepting new referrals and accepting a host of insurance providers. Medicare, Cigna, Tri-Care, United Health Care, First Carolina Care, and Blue Cross Blue Shield to name a few. I look forward to meeting and helping you to achieve the healthier version of self that you seek.

Stop beating yourself for being ‘sensitive.’ Anyone that shames you for crying is not for you.

Normalize being a human being - not an emotionless robot. Feel all your feelings.

Like, who even has their stuff together all the time anyway? Those super high expectations you’ve placed on yourself aren’t serving you. No one expects 110% from you. Don’t kill yourself trying to over achieve today. Just show up & do what you can.

We walk around creating false realities and often aren’t able to seperate ourselves from the narrative we’ve created in our heads. Ask yourself has this been explicitly said/done to me or am I just projecting?

Emotions are complicated. You may not always understand what you’re feeling or how to ‘fix’ it. Focus on your reaction. If you tend to gaslight, or minimize it - you’re probably used to being invalidated by others.

Give yourself permission to feel. Always.
