Join us on Tuesday, April 14th for complimentary recovery sessions with our pals !

Our Recovery Sessions are designed for active individuals who want to feel better,
move well and stay consistent — without letting small issues turn into bigger setbacks.

In your session, you can expect:

- A quick, focused look at how your body is moving and recovering
- Identification of tightness, restrictions, or imbalances
- Hands-on treatment (cupping, scraping, soft tissue work, etc.) to reduce tension and improve mobility
- Simple, effective strategies you can use right away to support recovery

This is a great fit if you:

- Feel sore, tight, or a little “off” from training
- Have small, recurring areas that haven’t fully been addressed
- Want consistent body maintenance to stay ahead of injury

This ISN'T for you, if you're looking for:

- A relaxing spa massage (but if you need one, we know who to refer you to!)
- A stretch session "just because" (but we also know where you can go for that!)

We’re so excited to share that a new Doctor of Physical Therapy will be joining our team next week — please help us welcome Dr. Hana Chahid, PT, DPT, CSCS!

Hana grew up on the South Shore of Massachusetts and has been an athlete her entire life, with soccer as her main focus. She was a varsity athlete in high school and went on to play collegiate soccer. Throughout her playing career, she saw firsthand how injuries could take athletes away from the sport they love, and that experience ultimately shaped her path into physical therapy.

Hana earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston and went on to complete a fellowship in manual therapy, where she trained extensively in joint mobilizations, soft tissue mobilization techniques, and advanced hands-on care.

Because ACL injuries are so common in women’s soccer, Hana developed a special interest in ACL injury prevention, post-operative rehab, and return-to-sport testing. She is passionate about helping athletes build strength, confidence, and resilience — not just to return to play, but to reach their full potential. Her approach is collaborative, motivating, and rooted in helping active individuals stay in the game for the long haul!

If you have a young athlete in your life who is preparing for their season, recovering after a long season, or simply looking to build overall strength and reduce injury risk — Hana is your girl. Whether it’s improving performance, dialing in movement mechanics, or creating a smart off-season strength plan, she loves working with athletes who want to stay strong and competitive year after year.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find Hana spending time with family and friends, traveling, and heading to games and concerts whenever she can.

We can’t wait for you to meet her and experience her energy, expertise, and passion for helping people move better and feel stronger.

Welcome to the team, Hana 💙

Returning to sport after an injury can feel like a huge milestone.

Pain has decreased. Movement feels better. You’ve been told you’re cleared.

But being cleared to return to activity doesn’t always mean your body has been fully prepared to tolerate it.

And that’s where a lot of people get stuck in the same frustrating cycle:

💥 Rehab ends

💥 Activity resumes

💥 Symptoms slowly return

💥 Confidence drops

💥 Another setback follows

Not because they did anything wrong, but because their rehab never addressed the root cause or rebuilt the strength needed for the actual demands of their sport.

At Core PT & Performance, our approach to return-to-sport rehab goes beyond getting you out of pain.

We focus on restoring your body’s ability to absorb force, produce force, and move with control through the ranges of motion your sport requires — whether that’s running, cutting, lifting, jumping, or changing direction quickly.

Because long-term success isn’t just about feeling better in the clinic.

It’s about having the strength, resilience, and confidence to perform outside of it — without constantly worrying about reinjury.

Our goal isn’t just to get you back to your sport. It’s to help you stay there.

Functional strength training isn’t about making your workouts look more complicated.

It’s about making your body more capable.

Too often, people are told to avoid movements that cause discomfort — to stop running, stop lifting, stop squatting, stop doing the things they love — without ever being shown how to build the strength and control needed to tolerate those movements in the first place.

So instead of increasing their capacity, they just learn to work around their limitations.

And while that might help in the short-term… it doesn’t create long-term success.

At Core PT & Performance, functional strength training is about preparing your body for the physical demands of your real life — not just getting through a workout without pain.

That means:

💥 Building strength through full ranges of motion

💥 Improving how your body absorbs and produces force

💥 Addressing the root cause of recurring symptoms

💥 Creating resilience so life feels easier — not more limiting

Because the goal isn’t just to feel better temporarily.

It’s to feel confident in your body for the long run — whether you're lifting your kids, training through pregnancy, returning to sport, or simply trying to stay active without setbacks.

Comment CORE to start building strength that supports your life.

Core PT & Performance was never meant to be just another place people came when they were already in pain.

It was created out of frustration — from watching active people be told to stop doing the things they love instead of being shown how to move through life with strength and confidence.

Too often, rehab focuses on calming symptoms without ever addressing the root cause. And when that happens, people end up stuck in the same cycle:

💥 Pain shows up

💥 Activity gets modified (or avoided altogether)

💥 Symptoms temporarily improve

💥 Pain comes back when life returns to normal

And the process starts all over again.

At Core, the goal has always been long-term success — not just short-term relief.

That means understanding your goals, your lifestyle, your stressors, your sport, your family life, and what movement actually looks like for you on a daily basis… and then building strength and resilience that supports that.

Because feeling better is great — but staying active, capable, and confident in your body for years to come is even better.

We believe the process of getting there should feel empowering (and yes, even fun).

Comment CORE for better care.

Being proactive is wildly underrated.

Why wait for pain to force you to slow down?
Why wait until something breaks to finally pay attention?

So many limitations fly under the radar because they don’t hurt yet. But those quiet restrictions — stiff hips, tight shoulders, uneven strength, poor control — slowly cap your performance and chip away at how good your body could actually feel.

Prevention isn’t just about avoiding injury. It’s about:

• Moving more freely
• Recovering better
• Training with confidence
• Waking up without stiffness being your “normal”

Physical therapy doesn’t have to be reactive.
It can be preventative.
It can be performance-driven.
It can be about long-term success — before something goes wrong.

Your body doesn’t need to be injured to deserve attention.

And that mindset shift?
It might be the most powerful tool we have.

Comment CORE if you’re ready to stop waiting for pain to make the first move.
