This week, we’re proud to highlight one of the leading voices in Integrated Healthcare and applied neuroscience education, Dr. Matthew Antonucci. As an Associate Professor at the Carrick Institute, Dr. Antonucci brings exceptional clinical expertise, academic leadership, and research-driven insight to every program he teaches. With multiple advanced credentials (DC, DACNB, FACFN, FABCDD, FABVR, FABNN, FABBIR, FICC), his career reflects a deep commitment to advancing neurological care through evidence-based practice.

Dr. Antonucci has devoted extensive years to advancing the understanding and management of concussion and mild traumatic brain injury. His work bridges complex neuroscience with practical clinical application and serves as the foundation for a comprehensive 350-hour Concussion Care program designed to equip clinicians with the frameworks, tools, and confidence needed to manage some of the most challenging neurological cases in practice.

I'm deeply honored and humbled to receive the Educator of the Year award from the Carrick Institute. This recognition represents not just my own journey, but the collective effort of every colleague, mentor, and student who has shaped my approach to education and professional development.

Ever since 2005 when I first heard my mentor, Ted Carrick, speak, I dreamed of one day teaching at the Carrick Institute. Their commitment to advancing clinical excellence aligns perfectly with my passion for lifelong learning and knowledge sharing. This award motivates me to continue pushing boundaries in education and to inspire others in their professional growth.
