Prayer and talking things out with the Lord has gotten me through everything.

We’re often too quick to stress and too slow to pray.

How many times have you caught yourself saying, “Well, all we can do now is pray…” as if prayer is the last resort after everything else has failed?nnnnnnnBut God never intended it that way. Prayer isn’t the backup plan. It’s the starting place. It’s the posture of surrender that says, “Lord, I trust You more than my own strength, my own plans, my own problem-solving.”

When you pray first, peace follows. Healing begins. Perspective shifts. God reminds you that He is still on the throne and still faithful to provide.

So today—pray before you worry. Pray before you spiral. Pray before you reach for control. Because prayer isn’t the last step...it’s the first step.

School year safety tip! Share their likes, their dislikes, their favorite foods, their favorite book, there’s so many things that you can share about your child that are fun and safe instead of their school name and teacher name. I would also add the tuition, not be adding pictures of teachers on your page without their consent.

This man didn’t wait for the world to adapt—he became the solution. A simple tricycle, built not for speed but for love, speaks volumes about devotion. In a society that often sidelines those with limitations, he created movement, inclusion, and joy.

Real love isn’t about words. It’s action, design, effort. It’s seeing a barrier and saying, “We’ll find a way.” This is what compassion looks like when it takes form in the world.

What would shift if more of us turned love into invention? And who could we uplift just by looking at a problem differently? 🚲❤️

After 13 years of Special Education classes, tears, joy, and work, my amazing grandson graduated from High School. He had the best teachers, administration, and resource specialists you could ask for. Thank you to all of them, and Dave - Nana is so proud of you!!
