✨ Big news at Lighthouse! ✨

We’re excited to welcome Meghan to the Lighthouse team, and share that Occupational Therapy (OT) services are coming to the clinic this summer! 💙

Meghan is a licensed OT with a passion for helping children build independence, confidence, and the skills they need for everyday life. With experience across pediatric and school-based settings (and a background in dance!), she brings a fun, creative, and movement-based approach that makes therapy engaging and meaningful.

As we begin offering OT in a small, intentional way, families will have the opportunity to explore support through added OT within speech sessions, separate OT sessions, parent consultations, or full evaluations.

Today is World Autism Awareness Day!

We love seeing stories like Carl the Collector that celebrate different ways of thinking, playing, and connecting.

Every child is their own kind of amazing, and we’re here to support and celebrate them just as they are. 💙

On World Autism Day (and each day), we recognize that every Autistic person is their own kind of amazing.

Some of us love patterns. Some of us love sounds. Some of us love quiet spaces, big ideas, or noticing details others might miss.

Some, like Carl's friend Lotta, see colors when they hear music. And some, like Carl, are sensory seekers who love strong smells.

There isn’t just one way to be Autistic. There are all kinds of kinds.

That’s something we celebrate every day at the Autism Society of America, and it’s something we love about Carl, Lotta, and their friends in Fuzzytown, too.
