Say hello to Michaela, the brain behind our ✨NEW✨ Little Movers: Early Development Class!

Michaela remembers wishing there were more places made just for newborns and young babies when her first child was born — and she’s excited to create that kind of space for others now.

No two snowflakes (or snowflake artists) are the same! ❄️

Glitter, paint, crayons… we’re loving all the creativity coming back to the clinic! If you haven’t already, don’t forget to bring your decorated snowflake with you to Lighthouse.

We’ll start hanging them the week of December 1, so if you’re not stopping by next week, no worries - just bring yours at your next visit. 🌨️

Just over here in the clinic, trying to keep us all healthy 😅

✋ As a reminder, staying healthy and germ free is our top priority over here (that, and meeting some speech goals!!).

✅Our clinic is professionally cleaned and sanitized twice a month, and therapists spray/wipe after each session. Staying home when sick also helps immensely!

Sending healthy (and stealthy) vibes to you all as we enter this Holiday season 🦠

Sensory-Friendly Santa is back at Taylor + Max 🎅✨

In previous years we have hosted a quiet, sensory-controlled Santa visit just for kids on the autism spectrum and other neurodivergent children — and this year we’ve partnered with Lighthouse Speech Therapy to make it even more supportive.
Soft lights, low noise, no rushing… just a calm, joyful moment with Santa. 💛

This event will take place during Sunday, Dec. 7th 12-3pm

Did you know Lighthouse provides early intervention services?

🍎 These services are provided to children age birth- 3-years-old

🎓 The goal of EI: increasing life participation and improving outcomes for children with or at risk of a disability

✏️ Specifically, EI addresses 5 developmental areas under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (2004):
1. Cognitive development
2. Communication development
3. Physical development, such as hearing and vision
4. Social or emotional development
5. Adaptive development
