Oh the power of vitamin D!

Moreover, nature is so cool, you can go outside into the SUN and get it. Wow! You'll need bare skin without sunscreen to do it. Darker skin tones will need more time in that glorious glow than lighter tones to get this nutrient absorbed. No worries, vitamin D deficiency is way worse to your health than the risk of skin cancer. But don't be a n***y and burn yourself either, sunscreen does have its place. Duh... vitamin C helps prevent infections of all kinds. Not just respiratory ones. Vitamin C comes in so many tasty forms too. High content foods include fresh citrus fruits, peppers and melons. Many supplements can be swallowed as pills or taken in chewable or even powdered forms. Try a good old fashioned glass of orange juice instead of a sports drink or 'vitamin' water. There is no reason any of us should be low in vitamin C - its so easy to get enough.
