Rhodiola, known as "golden root" or "arctic root," is a promising healing supplement for several mental health conditions. A study published in Phytomedicine Journal 2015 found that Rhodiola rosea extract significantly improved depressive symptoms in patients with mild to moderate depression.
A study published in the Nordic Journal of Psychiatry 2015 found that Rhodiola rosea extract improved attention, speed, and accuracy during mentally demanding tasks in healthy adults.
Rhodiola is known to have adaptogenic properties, which means it helps the body and mind to better adapt to stress. It has been shown to reduce cortisol levels, the primary stress hormone, and has an anxiolytic effect, helping to alleviate anxiety symptoms.

Correlational scientific evidence consistently indicates that vitamin D status is inversely related to mental health issues, including depression and anxiety in all age groups. Some studies have suggested that vitamin D deficiency may worsen psychiatric symptoms in individuals with depression and bipolar disorder.

A study of 7,970 subjects found that the odds ratio for depressive episodes in those with serum vitamin D ≤ 20 ng/ml is significantly higher compared to those with ≥ 30 ng/ml. Soak up the Vitamin D and keep your calm.
