Exercise Treats Depression đȘ
A major Cochrane review of 73 trials shows exercise works as well as antidepressants and psychotherapy for depression.
Light to moderate movement outperformed intense workouts. Mixing resistance and aerobic training worked best.
The sweet spot was 13 to 36 sessions, about three months of consistency. This is not adjunct therapy. It is real treatment.
