🌍 Grounded Sleep, Better Recovery - A new double-blind, placebo-controlled trial found that sleeping on earthing mats which connect the body to the Earth’s electrical charge resulting in improved sleep quality, reduced insomnia, daytime sleepiness, and stress.

Participants used the mats for about 6 hours nightly over 31 days, and those on real grounding mats saw meaningful improvements compared to the placebo group.

In a recent longevity interview with Vistage and Scott Bunce, I shared one of the simplest habits that supports long-term health:

Aim for about 30 minutes of movement a day, and it doesn’t have to happen all at once. A few minutes in the morning, a walk at lunch, and light activity in the evening all add up.

As we age, maintaining muscle mass becomes essential, so incorporating simple bodyweight resistance movements can make a big difference.

Consistency is key to healthy aging.

🚶‍♀️ A Little Walking Goes a Long Way - Can’t hit 10k steps every day? Good news - you don’t have to. A 10-year study of 13,000 women in their 70s found that walking just 4,000 steps once or twice a week was linked to a 27% lower risk of heart disease and 26% lower risk of death.

And the benefits were even bigger for those walking that much 3+ days a week - with up to 40% lower mortality.
