A little bit of dermal filler goes a long way. I used only 1 syringe (which is 1 mL, or 1/5th of a teaspoon) of Restylane Lyft to treat early age-related changes of the jawline in my lovely 40-year-old patient. We had enough left over to restore subtle volume to her cheekbone, and also to treat her early marionette lines and support the corner of the mouth. Using small volumes of dermal filler to treat just what’s needed is safe, super well tolerated, and prevents that obviously done look that so many of us want to avoid.
