Dr. Jennifer Miller’s Story

Dr. Miller has been focused on helping improve the health and lives of others for most of her life. Suffering chronic daily headaches as a small child, which then progressed to debilitating migraines at the age of 13, she found no relief with pain killers and medication. Disheartened when she found there were few options beyond taking medication, and concerned about the side effects, she began seeking out ways of assisting the body in restoring health naturally. She started learning about nutritional supplementation, and what can be done to naturally support the body in returning to health.

After learning about chiropractic from a friend during her junior year at Virginia Tech, and within 2 weeks of her first chiropractic adjustment, she noticed she had more energy, felt less run down, and noticed that she was experiencing headaches and migraines less often. As she learned more about this natural approach to helping the body, she knew she hadn’t just found a way to help herself, but wanted to help restore health in others, so she completed her Bachelor of Science degree 6 months early, and went on to study chiropractic at Life University in Marietta, Georgia.

After graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic she moved back to the D.C. area to practice close to her family. She practiced chiropractic for 3 years in Gainesville, Virginia, and then changed gears by joining a group practice focused on weight loss, nutrition, and decreasing body stress in Alexandria, Virginia. She became a lead practitioner, utilizing a technique called “Body Restoration Technique”, a technique focused on improving body communication by stimulating various communication and acupressure points in the body.
