Last week in Annapolis, EveryMind stood alongside lawmakers, educators, providers, and community partners to make one thing clear: behavioral health support for Maryland’s students is not optional.

Our Therapeutic Mentor at Laurel High School, Tameelah Dawson, stood alongside one of her students at a statewide press conference to share firsthand how school based mental health supports are changing lives and what is at risk if funding is reduced.

Thank you to WBAL-TV 11 News, WYPR, and Direct Connection on Maryland Public Television for helping elevate this critical conversation because Maryland’s students deserves access to care that helps them heal, grow, and succeed.

This scholarship supports high school seniors or recent graduates from Montgomery County, MD, who have lost a parent or guardian to breast or ovarian cancer. With awards up to $20,000 per year for four years, it’s designed to help students pursue their dreams of higher education.
