Therapy can be a fantastic resource, but is not necessary for everyone. If you are seeking a therapist, make sure:

1) they have expertise in your areas of concern
2) it feels like a good match / you feel comfortable talking to them
3) the logistics (schedule, location, cost) work for you

If you have to compromise, please do not compromise on the first two! Given long waitslists for many therapists, you may need to have some logistical flexibility.

Stress, anxiety and loneliness can signal a time for reflection and change, and does not necessarily require therapy.
