It went by quick, but it was impactful. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to learn from this legend. An experience I will never forget. Patient with talus AVN without collapse… index procedure ankle fusion, resulted in further necrosis with collapse and continued pain, salvaged with femoral head allograft TTC fusion with lateral plate

Salvaging ankles with ankle replacement. Prophylactic medial malleolus fixation was used in this case to prevent post op medial mal fracture or insufficiency fracture. Female with a medial tibial implant to medial malleolus distance of 7mm

Small incision ankle fracture surgery. A great option when there are soft tissue limitations; such as this patient with fracture blisters. Stable construct, small incisions, less chance for wound healing problems, earlier weight bearing and return to activity sooner. Win - win all around.
