Our Story

Dr. Stan Lowrance is a well known dentist in the Rockwall, Texas Community; After graduating 5th in his class from Claude high school in '73, he attended West Texas State University on a football scholarship & graduated there with a Degree in Bachelor in Science. He was on the Dean's Honor Roll & received the Missouri Valley Conference Scholastics Honors & was named Who's Who in College Students. After college, Dr. Lowrance continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry where he was selected as the Student Representative for the school's Admittance Committee. He was also named Who's Who in Young Professionals. Dr. Lowrance graduated from Baylor with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1981 & opened his dental practice in Rockwall that same summer. Dr. Lowrance went even further with his education by completing studies at Midwest Implant Institute of Columbus, Ohio, in 1991, where he received the Presidential Award, which is the highest honor given in the graduating class. He also completed a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1991 & was named Who's Who in Outstanding Americans. He married Cyndie Kluck in 1986, who moved here from Wisconsin. They have two daughters; Chloe who was born in October '89, graduated from Rockwall Heath in 2008 & went to Ouachita Baptist University to play volleyball, and Shanae who was born August '91, graduated from Rockwall Heath in 2010, attended Tarelton State University and is currently a dental student at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. She will be joining the practice in the summer of 2019. Dr. Lowrance has many prestigious titles: Rockwall Noon Rotarian of the Year (1988), President of the Rockwall Noon Rotary Club (1995), & Rockwall Area Man of the Year (1999-2000), Rotary District 5810 Rotarian of the Year (2001). He also was elected on the Rockwall ISD School Board in 2004 & served six years. He has also served as a board member on the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce for nine years. He has been involved with Foreign Dental Missions Since 1987 & proudly has been having his daughters help him with recent ones. When the dentist has free time he enjoys raising Reg. Shorthorn cattle, basketball, scuba diving, & a variety of other sports & events. Dr. Lowrance added Dr. Chris Baker to his team in August 2015. Dr. Chris Baker, a native of Weatherford, Texas, earned his BS degree from Baylor University in 2004 and dental degree in 2009 from the University of Texas – Houston, School of Dentistry. Ultimately, his commitment to continuing education and clinical excellence led him to complete the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. This state-of-the-art academic program advanced Dr. Baker’s clinical experiences with general dentistry, IV and oral sedation, implantology, wisdom teeth removal, periodontal surgery, and endodontics. Now, as a Rockwall Dentist, Dr. Baker is an active member of the North Texas Dental Society and the Texas Academy of General Dentistry where he received his fellowship in 2017.
