North Texas posted our Distinguished Alumni Achievement video today, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.
This season is about giving thanks—and I’m most grateful for the chance to believe in the underdog. To look at an individual who’s been underestimated and say, “We’re not giving up on you.” That belief is the core of everything we do.
Our team shows up every day with that same heart. They choose to make someone else’s life better, even when the work is hard and the path isn’t easy. They fight for the breakthrough no one else saw coming. They lift up families who have heard “no” far too many times. They put others above self, quietly and consistently.
This honor isn’t about me or Angie. It belongs to every provider who chooses hope, chooses compassion, and chooses to believe in someone who just needs one person in their corner.
As Thanksgiving approaches, I’m thankful for our patients, their families, and the incredible team that stands beside them.
