Never forget them. Never forget the bravery displayed that day.
To those first responders, many of which still suffer TO THIS DAY, your heroism exemplified the BEST of humanity.

Life can change in an instant. Don’t take it for granted. It’s hard but of all days, take this day to pause and reflect. Teach younger generations the stories behind the faces of those who perished, the heroism of that day. Teach them about America’s resilience and her unbreakable spirit.

The Wandering Brew will be open around the corner for your morning coffee!

🛣 Stops will be in Rockford, Marble Rock, Greene, Aredale, Sheffield, And Rockwell!
With Lunch available in Marble Rock!!

🔥 Door prizes, Raffle items, and 50/50 Drawings at each stop!

‼️Gettin Toasted and Mama Dee’s Food trucks will be at The Linn Grove Country Club in Rockwell for our last stop!

🚨 $25 per rig and $5 per passenger.
Side by Sides, Motorcycles, and classic cars all welcome!

Lastnight we attended a Combine Extrication Course hosted by the Sheffield Fire Department. It was a really great training for rural fire departments!

Just under 3 weeks away from Rockwell Fire Department 2nd Annual Fun Run. We will have stops in Rockford, Marble Rock, Greene, Aredale, Sheffield, and Rockwell.
The Wandering Brew will be open that morning at 8am to serve all riders!
Gettin Toasted and Mama Dee’s will both be in Rockwell to end the ride!

Rockwell Community Fire Department assisted with providing fire coverage at the North Iowa Nationals Truck Pull this weekend. Couldn't have asked for a better show!

This weekend we hosted a Grain Bin Rescue Training at the Rockwell Fire Department. Firefighters from Rockwell, Sheffield, and Dougherty Fire departments attended. Big thank you to Professional Rescue Innovations and the Iowa Fire Service Training Bureau for making this possible.

Shortly after 2:00am Rockwell Community Fire Department responded to Partridge Ave for a semi on fire. Rockwell Fire responded with 12 firefighters and 4 trucks. No injuries were reported on scene. Thank you to Cerro Gordo County Sheriff for assisting on scene.

Rockwell Fire Chief Josh Dannen has been a member of the Rockwell Community Fire Department for 9 years! Josh works as the Community Corrects Trades Leader for the Iowa DOC.

What advice do you give to a new member of the fire department?
Be at as much as possible and learn as much as possible.

Reason for joining the Rockwell Community Fire Department?
To help serve and protect our community and build a better fire department.

The best part about being a member of the fire department?
Being a member of the fire department is extremely rewarding.
