It’s been awhile friends! 👋👋Life has been busy, and this page has taken a backseat because of it. Health issues, work, life.. all good excuses to not focus on your nutrition, but not really. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have been less worried about the food I put in my body than I have in years. Because of that, I feel even worse than I have to. 😞Anyone else struggling.. 🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m done with the excuses. Starting tomorrow, I’m getting back to what has helped me most.. ACCOUNTABILITY! ❤️ I will be back to posting more pictures and recipes. I hope that it not only helps me, but you as well! I am also considering starting a free accountability group if there is enough interest! ☺️ Let me know if you are interested and we can do this together. 🥰

Last week was a tough one for me. Not only emotionally, but physically. We all have our struggles and sometimes our bodies tell us that they need a rest. I did not do any workouts last week. I listened to what my body was telling me, which was “slow down”. Today though, I felt ready to get back to it. 💪🏻 I decided to lay off the weights for a little while because I have been having some neck and back issues. This program is only 20 min a day, 5 days a week, but holy crap it’s hard! As I’ve said before, the time doesn’t matter as much as the intention! Need some motivation? Let me tell you this: Don’t just tell people your goals, show them.❤️❤️ You got this friend. You are not alone in your daily struggles because we have all been there, or are there now. Today is a new day. Let’s do this!☺️🥰

Not too shabby for my first day back on Macros. ☺️❤️ Trying to figure out what works best for my body right now and it’s going to take some trial and error.. but I am determined to not eat ice cream a few times a week like a have been, and to focus more on feeling better mentally and physically. 🙌🏻🧘‍♀️ Here’s to a new focus; one not on the number on the scale, but my actual health and mental health. ❤️

Tonight for dinner was pizza… for the kids. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 I am trying my best to resist, so I made one of my favorites.. BBQ Sloppy Joe’s! 😍🤤 These are fabulous, and clean! 🤯 I haven’t made this in forever because, let’s be honest, I have no energy/desire to cook lately.👎🏻 Having Chronic Fatigue+Sleep Apnea+POTS is no fun, but I’m doing my best. ☺️ Let me know if you’d like the recipe! 😘💋

Eating out doesn’t have to mean eating like crap. 🤔 Say what?😂 It is super easy to make healthier choices! This was originally a Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with fries. Sub: Grilled ✔️ No Bun ❌ Brussels Spouts instead of 🍟 Let me tell you, all of this was FANTASTIC! 😍 Does it mean I always eat like this? No, ma’am. I love my desserts, so that’s where my treats come in. 🍦🍪 Frozen Custard is my weakness.. 😩😆 It’s all about that balance! Still enjoy the food you ❤️ in moderation, but remember that food is meant to be fuel for our bodies, not something we get to splurge on when we feel like it. We are adults here people, we can’t eat everything we love all the time. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Try to keep that in mind! 🥰
