What fertility coverage looks like—and who qualifies—can vary widely based on where you live, your employer, and your specific plan. Currently, 26 states + Washington, D.C. have fertility coverage laws, and 15 states require IVF coverage in some form.
As we move into a new year, it’s especially important to pause and check in with your insurance:
➡️ Did you change insurance policies?
➡️ Do you know if your deductible reset on January 1?
➡️ Even if you’re at a practice where everyone knows you by name, please be prepared to show your current insurance card so we can make sure your information is up to date.
Learning what is or isn’t covered can bring both hope and frustration. Insurance language is complex, and too often patients are left to decode it on their own.
That’s why support matters. And at your First Fertility center, our teams are here to help you:
💗 Review your benefits
💗 Understand possible next steps
💗 Explore pathways forward with clarity and compassion
Plus, First Fertility centers all have a limited-time Fertility Access Initiative, helping make fertility care more accessible, along with PatientFi financing and other offers. Reach out to your care team to learn about your options today.
