Friends of Your Choice Resource Center Non-profit, non-denominational Christian ministry governed by a local board of directors committed to promoting the sanctity of human life.

Your Choice Resource Center is a Christian ministry providing alternatives to abortion by supporting women and men facing the challenges of unplanned pregnancy, promoting sexual abstinence and offering post abortion recovery support. The YCRC provides a caring, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach, in which respect for the client and confidentiality are paramount. Your Choice Resource Center is a volunteer-driven organization. Trained volunteers serve over 5,000 hours per year to effectively meet the needs of the Center's clients. One of the hallmark's of the ministry is, funds are spent locally & devoted to providing over 15 free services at the Center, in schools, and in churches, all without government assistance. Your Choice Resource Center is a dramatic example of the power of citizen action to change and save lives, thus improving our community. The Lord is at work in the hearts of pregnant women in our community, knitting their hearts to those of the unborn inside them. Last Thursday evening, we had the honor of seeing 2 babies saved. Friday, our Mobile Team witnessed 1 baby saved. Today, while Delphine was checking up on a mom who was previously undecided, she stated she wanted to keep her child. Then, later this afternoon, while seeing her child on an ultrasound, another mother decided to choose life. These 5 lightbulbs represent 5 babies that will now have a chance at life. They also represent moms that are being supported through Christian, compassionate care.

Last Saturday, the Mobile team was able to share truth in love with a mom. We were able to offer her free services as well as refer her to ongoing support for her motherhood journey. We are so excited she chose life for the little one growing inside her!

The Kay F. Gurganus award is given to honor those who have labored for life in our community, with a heart for seeing people transformed by the gospel. The 2026 award recipients are Benedict Votipka and Joyce Pendergrass.

Ben and Joyce are amazing volunteers who have served the Center in many ways, including being trailblazers of our Mobile Ministry from its inception 10 years ago. They both have committed to 7-hour days of volunteering to serve with humility and love on the sidewalk at the Gillespie Street abortion clinic in Fayetteville. They are missionaries who answered the call to stand up to the abortion culture of our day.

We are thankful that God has called both of these wonderful people to serve at Your Choice Resource Center, and we hope you will join us in honoring their faithful service to the Lord through their pro-life ministry.
