Jerusalem donkeys (also known as the Palestinian donkey) are known for the beautiful cross marking on their backs. One dark stripe down the spine and another across the shoulders.

Many believe this marking is a reminder of the donkey that carried Jesus into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday… a quiet symbol of humility, service, and God’s greater story.
These gentle, steady animals have long been known for their calm spirit. Perfectly reflecting the peace and purpose they were created for.

He is Risen!

May this Easter day bring resurrection life to our hearts and our home. May renewal radiate within us and revival emanate through us. May dawn displace darkness and spring replace winter in our lives. May the God of hope so fill us with joy and peace this Easter that we overflow with hope by His power and with His life forever.

Silent Saturday.
Listen to the silence.

The earth was quiet.
Hope felt buried.
And heaven seemed still.

“Take a guard,” Pilate answered. “Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.” — Matthew 27:65

On this day, Jesus lay in the tomb…
The promise hadn’t changed, but the world didn’t know what was coming yet.

Here on the farm, there’s a stillness too.
A gentle pause.
A reminder that even in the silence… God is still working.

Sometimes life feels like this,
waiting, wondering, holding onto faith when we can’t yet see the outcome.
But Sunday is coming. ✝️
