We are pleased to share an important update about Barlow & Adams Behavioral Health. Our practice is relocating to a new office to better serve you.

Beginning December 8th, we will be seeing patients at our new location:

King James Building IV
24500 Center Ridge Road
Suite 240
Westlake, OH 44145

All appointments scheduled on or after December 8th will take place at the new address. If you have an upcoming appointment, no action is needed—we simply look forward to welcoming you at our new location.

Summer is not over yet! There are still 3 more opportunities before school starts back up to empower your daughter at our Empowered Girls Summer Social Group. Whether your teenage girl is struggling to make connections with peers, to understand how to navigate challenging social dynamics in school, or in need of an empowerment and self-esteem boost, this group is for her.

Groups meet weekly, on Wednesday's, and the girls learn and practice problem solving strategies to navigate the frustrating, awkward, and difficult girl specific challenges that are often faced during the teenage years. With targeted focuses on exploring self awareness, developing coping and distress tolerance skills, learning the importance of internet and social media safety and more, the girls in this group will gain confidence in their ability to manage the ups and downs of life, while building positive connections with other girls along the way.

Our Annual Summer Executive Function Camp starts NEXT WEEK!! Don't miss out on your chance to sharpen your child's Executive Functions before the school year starts back up. These functions are the essential self-regulating skills that we all use every day to plan, organize, make decisions, and learn from past mistakes. Kids rely on their executive functions for everything from taking a shower to packing a backpack or doing a book report.

Empowered Girls Summer Social Group: Ages 13-17 meets weekly on Wednesday evenings 5-6pm to learn and practice problem solving strategies to navigate the frustrating, awkward, and difficult girl specific challenges that are often faced during the teenage years. There is still room in the following groups:
June 26th- Self awareness
July 10th- Body Image
July 24th- Healthy coping skills and distress tolerance
July 31st- Internet and social media safety
August 7th- Navigating setbacks and conflict resolution
August 14th- Self esteem and confidence building
