Bee like the honeybee.

Bees live in social colonies and cannot survive in isolation. The hive exists because the bees are a connected community. The hive thrives because the bees work together for the good of the whole. At Bee Well Yoga we are like the hive. We are...

Take your practice outside.

The wind.
The sun.
The sound of birds.

Nature deepens mindfulness in a way four walls never can. Our latest blog shares how mindfulness in nature enhances your yoga practice, reduces stress hormones, and strengthens presence.

Try this today:

Walk slowly.
Sync breath to steps.
Notice everything.
Let nature teach you.

What does a day in Ireland actually look like? 🍀 Let me show you…

☀️ Morning
Wake up slowly.
Sip tea overlooking rolling green hills.
Move through a grounding yoga practice + meditation.

🥐 Mid-Morning
Nourishing breakfast.
Laughter around the table.
No rush. Nowhere to be but here.

🌿 Afternoon
Explore breathtaking landscapes.
Cliffs, countryside, charming villages.
Or… rest, journal, take a nap, relax in the sauna or spa. (yes, really)

🍂 Evening
Gentle yoga or restorative practice.
Cozy dinner.
Connection, reflection, deep exhale.

✨ Night
Unplug.
Slow down.
Sleep deeper than you have in months.

This is the rhythm of October 4–9.

Space.
Softness.
And just enough adventure.

Spots are limited 🍀

Comment “IRELAND” for details.

Happy Spring Equinox bees 🐝 If you have been in my classes this month, you might have heard me share this prayer. Enjoy 💜

Earth Teach Me - a Native American Prayer (Northern Ute)

Earth teach me stillness
as the grasses are stilled with light.
Earth teach me suffering
as old stones suffer with memory.
Earth teach me humility
as blossoms are humble with beginning.
Earth Teach me caring
as the mother who secures her young.
Earth teach me courage
as the tree which stands alone.
Earth teach me limitation
as the ant which crawls on the ground.
Earth teach me freedom
as the eagle which soars in the sky.
Earth teach me resignation
as the leaves which die in the fall.
Earth teach me regeneration
as the seed which rises in the spring.
Earth teach me to forget myself
as melted snow forgets its life.
Earth teach me to remember kindness
as dry fields weep in the rain.

Feeling overstimulated? On edge? Anxious or overwhelmed?

Grounding yoga supports nervous system regulation by activating your parasympathetic response. This is your body’s natural calm state.

This week on the blog we’re sharing:
• Earth-based breathwork
• Stabilizing yoga cues
• Simple grounding rituals you can use daily

Your body is designed to return to balance. Sometimes it just needs support.

Happy Pi Day 🥧🧘‍

In honor of 3.14, here are 3.14 reasons yoga is good for your wellness (and probably better than eating the whole pie… probably).

1. Movement - Yoga stretches the body in ways you forgot it could move. Goodbye stiff hips, hello feeling human again.

2. Breath - Deep breathing lowers stress and keeps you from sending that email you might regret.

3. Mindfulness - Yoga helps quiet the busy mind… at least until you remember you left laundry in the washer.
14 Community - The extra little slice that makes it sweet. Practicing together means encouragement, laughter, and someone to witness your wobbly tree pose.

Yoga might not solve all your problems… but it definitely adds up to better wellness. And yes, you can still celebrate Pi Day WITH actual pie after class. That's just balance. 🥧✨

Why the Food Matters on a Yoga Retreat 🌿
A nourishing body supports a peaceful mind.

When we think about a yoga retreat, we often imagine the practices—the movement, the meditation, the beautiful setting. But one of the most transformative parts of a retreat is something much simpler: the food.

The meals shared on retreat are designed to support your body, your energy, and your practice. When we eat foods that are fresh, nourishing, and prepared with care, we begin to feel the difference not just physically, but mentally and spiritually as well.

Here are 5 reasons why the food on a yoga retreat truly matters:

1. It Supports Your Practice
Yoga asks your body to move, stretch, breathe, and release. Whole, nourishing foods provide the steady energy needed to move through practices without feeling heavy or depleted.

2. It Helps Reset Your Body
Many retreat menus focus on whole, seasonal ingredients—fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and nourishing proteins. Eating this way for several days can help your body reset and rebalance.

3. It Encourages Mindful Eating
Retreat meals are often slower and more intentional. Without the rush of daily life, you can truly taste your food, appreciate where it came from, and reconnect with the experience of eating.

4. It Deepens Your Connection to Nature
Many retreat centers source ingredients locally or seasonally. Eating foods grown close to the land you’re practicing on deepens your connection to that place and its natural rhythms.

5. It Nourishes More Than the Body
Meals on retreat are also about community. Sitting together, sharing stories, laughing, and connecting creates a sense of belonging that feeds the heart as much as the food feeds the body.

A yoga retreat isn’t just about stepping away from daily life—it’s about stepping into a way of living that feels supportive, balanced, and nourishing.

And sometimes, that transformation begins with something as simple as the next meal you share. 🌿

✨ Our Ireland Yoga Retreat is designed to nourish you in every way—from daily practices to beautiful meals shared in community. Read more and sign up to join us at www.beewellyoga.com/retreats
