Today we are celebrating a very meaningful milestone.

Eduardo is graduating from the PEARL Men’s Recovery Housing Program, and in doing so has become our first Benton County Specialty Courts-Arkansas - Mental Health Court recovery housing graduate.

Eduardo entered our program as a participant in Mental Health Court with co-occurring substance use and mental health needs. During his time with us, he has remained fully engaged, goal oriented, and deeply committed to his recovery and personal growth.

While in the program, he maintained full-time employment, earned his driver’s license, purchased his own vehicle, and consistently saved toward greater financial independence. These achievements reflect steady effort, responsibility, and follow through over time.

We are incredibly proud of the progress he has made and honored to have walked alongside him during this chapter. Milestones like this matter, not just for Eduardo, but for what his story represents in recovery, accountability, and hope.

Today, we’re celebrating a meaningful moment at PEARL.

Jon, a resident in our Men’s House, recently purchased his own car. Since coming to PEARL four months ago, Jon has worked steadily toward stability, showing perseverance, responsibility, and a strong commitment to maintaining long-term sobriety.

Moments like this reflect consistency, support, and progress built one step at a time. We’re proud of the work Jon is doing and grateful to walk alongside him as he continues forward.

As residents graduate from PEARL and transition into independent housing, we want to send them off with more than a certificate. We want them to leave with practical support, dignity, and encouragement as they build the next chapter of their recovery.

Throughout 2026, PEARL will be creating Graduation Transition Baskets for residents who successfully complete our recovery housing program. These baskets are meant to support stability, independence, and recovery continuity during a critical life transition.

We are currently accepting donations of new or unused items such as:

Starter cleaning supplies

Basic kitchen tools and household items

Towels and washcloths

Snacks and shelf-stable food items

Grocery gift cards

Gas gift cards

General gift cards

Financial donations are also welcome and will be used directly to purchase items for these baskets as needed.

Your support helps ensure that residents leave PEARL with tangible resources, increased recovery capital, and a reminder that their hard work is seen and celebrated.

Join us in celebrating Jim and Megan and the work they do each day at PEARL.

Their presence, reliability, and behind the scenes efforts help keep PEARL running smoothly.

Jim marked two years as a Peer Support Specialist at PEARL. He brings lived experience, patience, and steady presence into his work each day, and he is deeply committed to supporting the peers he serves. Jim’s peer support is rooted in listening and mutual respect, walking alongside others and modeling what long term recovery can look like through action and follow through.

Megan marked one year as PEARL’s Administrative Assistant. Megan does a little bit of everything and approaches her work with a positive, thoughtful attitude that is felt throughout the organization. She keeps things running smoothly, steps in wherever she is needed, and brings reliability and intention to each task she takes on. Her presence helps PEARL stay grounded and organized day after day.

We are thankful for Jim and Megan and the dedication they bring to PEARL.
