We have a very sad announcement that we have been procrastinating in posting. Most residents and family members know at this point, but Tuesday, December 30th is going to be our AMAZING administrator’s last day at Promenade. Cameron has been with Stein for over a decade in different positions and has managed each position with ease. We are so sad to say that he is leaving, but, we believe that we have some positive things in the works that will hopefully lessen the blow of this significant loss!

We’ve learned from Cameron, cried to Cameron, laughed with Cameron, and gotten angry with Cameron… because that’s what families do! He’s held us accountable and led the facility with grace and compassion and words can’t express how much we are going to miss him.

We aren’t quite certain what the future holds, but, we wish Cameron the best of luck in his new job and are blessed to have worked with him. He has some big shoes to fill, but we are confident we will find a great replacement and that his new work family will experience a whole new quality of life-because he makes things better, wherever he goes! Words can’t express how grateful we are for everything he has done for us and our residents and we truly hope that his new job values and respects him as much as we do!

Someone’s birthday is coming up so we decided to celebrate a little early while the whole crew was here before holiday vacations start! Pictures to come!

We didn’t get many pictures because we were too busy filling our bellies and giving out/getting Christmas gifts!!! Thank you to everyone that brought something to eat! We had turkey, buffalo chicken dip, veggies, charcuterie boards, and too many desserts to name… and we were blessed with so many wonderful prizes that we pulled names of everyone that was working today and then some!!!

We are so grateful for each and every person that comes to work and treats their residents like family and helps them feel special! We have some of the best of the best and we love each and every one of you!!!

Today was filled with love, laughter, and lots of food and gifts! This time of year can be especially hard for our residents that don’t have family. We thank each and every person that donated their time or gifts for our residents and we want you all to know that you are truly special to us!

We had some very special visitors today!
Santa made his appearance… and so did the Grinch!!! The biggest thank yous go to Alice & Keith Harvey and to Julie Lancelot and family/friends for coming to help today… we couldn’t have done it without you!!

Our residents deserve the best and this was our biggest party with the most participation we’ve had in years!

We can’t put into words how grateful we are for the community participation to help our residents have a great Christmas!
