Today, we are thankful for the Arkansas Health Care Association! From regulatory education opportunities to emergency preparedness programs, they help ensure that our facility and 90% of other licensed facilities in the state of Arkansas can be the best we can for our residents! They also host an annual conference and the Annual State Queen Pageant! We have been lucky enough to be asked to sponsor the district three pageant for the past several years and are grateful for the connections made and stories learned from our elders!

Today, we are thankful for the home health teams that we get to work with to ensure our rehabilitation patients are able to safely transition home and continue to make gains towards more independence!

Thank you to our liaisons for your help in making our residents transitions home seamless and following up so that we can have the peace of mind in knowing our patients will get the best care in a timely manner! Thank you to the nurses and therapists and behind the scenes folks as well that care for and help push people to be the best version of theirselves they can be!

We appreciate all that you do so that our folks are able to come back and see us to visit-not to stay! Our skilled nursing team’s goal is always to get people back to their prior level-or better! Home health companies often help people avoid regression after returning home and getting comfortable again! Thanks for all that you do!

Today, we are thankful for all of the volunteers and groups that come by to share their talents with us and our residents! There’s too many to tag you all but you know who you are! From volunteers to help paint our ladies nails, to music by Bill Skaggs and the different church choirs that come out, to the family members of our staff that help decorate, entertain, and pamper our residents-We appreciate you all!

The time you spend with our elders really does make a world of difference to them and we can’t express our gratitude enough! Thank you for all that you do!!!

We are a few days late in getting started, but we want to take the month of November to highlight people, necessities, and community partners that we are thankful for!

Today, we would like to share how thankful we are for the hospice agencies that work with us to provide the absolute best care possible for our residents in their last weeks and days of life. The holidays are especially hard when you’re missing loved ones but Circle of Life and Elite Hospice - Springdale both do a wonderful job of offering support to family in their time of need and continue their support for up to a full year after a loved ones’ passing! We are grateful to have the opportunity to collaborate with these agencies to help care for not only our residents, but their families too!

Thank you to the operational staff, nurses, and CNAs from both agencies that love and care for our residents! From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate all that you do! ❤️

Everyone, meet Natia!
Natia, or Tia for short, is the transportation driver for Promenade! She has been with us for several years-first as a CNA and now as the first face many of our residents see! Natia is always willing to lend a hand and she brightens every room that she enters!

This week is transportation appreciation week and she doesn’t use social media, so if you see Natia around, tell her thanks for all that she does!!! From initial encounters to 3x/wk dialysis transports… from being a helping hand on the hall to being Maid of Honor, she does it all and does it with grace!

Screaming from the rooftops- WE LOVE YOU, NATIA! ❤️

Med Tech Week Staff Spotlight!
Last, but definitely not least, meet Sherry!! We’ve been really sad that Sherry had to change her schedule so we don’t get to see her as much during the week, but we are so grateful to have her here! Sherry is currently in school to get her nursing license and gets closer to that finish line every day! Regardless of what she has going on in her personal/school life, Sherry comes in and puts a smile on her face, puts her best foot forward, and gives 1000% to our residents and their families! She’s a strong woman, mother, and advocate for her residents. It doesn’t matter what gets thrown her way, we know she can and will handle it with ease!

We love you Sherry! We are so glad to have you as a part of our family!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
