And don’t you dare back down and remain silent about the abuse by the perpetrator. I don’t care if the rest of your family would prefer you shut up and everything would be fine. Everything would not be fine. You have the right to be traumatized and have nothing to do with the perpetrator. I am the black sheep of my family and proud of it. Somebody has to stand for something and that someone is me!!
